BKAA Panel Event
VIA ZOOM
In the tumult of our times, it seems as if we are daily pushed to engage in a fervent and national conversation about race and politics. Although George Floyd's unfortunate death forces us to closely re-examine the black experience in America, we may, in his wake, be compelled to also ask what the Korean-American's role in this country has been, and is now. Who are we? What do we contribute to the American social fabric? What can we do, with or without our fellow citizens?
Please join us in a friendly (digital) panel event with Professor Edward Taehan Chang (Professor of Ethnic Studies, UCR), Edward J.W. Park (Professor of Asian and Asian-American Studies, LMU), and Susan Lee (Deputy Mayor for Public Safety at the City of Chicago) where we aim to discuss these questions in further detail.
Please feel free to invite your friends and family.
